Pictures of The Hybrid
Yesterday, Lee and I went for a 4d ultrasound. If we can figure out how to extract the video from the DVD and edit it (it's 35 minutes long!), we'll post it later. If you're really bored, you can view all of the pictures here.
For those of you who look at the album:
- there are pictures of her sticking out her tongue (20th picture), yawning (9th picture) and grimacing (various!);
- in the 17th picture, the angle makes it look like she's smiling;
- the black spot on her forehead in some of the pictures is where she is pressing up against the placenta;
- she had her arm up with her hand on her head (you can see it in the 3rd picture);
- the stuff in front of her face is the umbilical cord;
- frontal view pictures make her face look distorted (mostly her nose); and
- finally, in the picture where you can't make out a face she's showing you she's a girl.

And in pictures 65 and 66 she looks right at the ultrasound and gives it the evil eye.
Just kidding; the ultrasound can go through various layers of skin (obviously), and in those shots the technician said that he zoomed in a little too close and "went through" her eyelid. Still, the effect is kinda creepy.
Like her parents, the Hybrid definitely has her "stop taking pictures of me" stare down pat.
She is also unambiguously adorable, even when her head is wedged between placenta and umbilical cord.
