Aww, she has her mommy's ... feet?
Every day I spend a few minutes looking into The Hybrid's face, trying to identify a feature that she undeniably got from me. Only time will tell if she won the genetic lottery and inherited my luxurious hair, bedroom eyes, dignified nose and ample bosom. Honestly, though, I'm less concerned with whether I successfully passed on my regal chin and strong aquiline jaw than I am with whether The Hybrid will be able to withstand direct exposure to sunlight for more than a few minutes without taking on the color of a boiled crawfish.
While it's anyone's guess whether The Hybrid will get Pegs' olive complexion or my Johnny Winter tan, one thing is already certain: she definitely has Pegs' feet. I can't say that Pegs is thrilled that our daughter inherited her oddly curved toes, but at least now Pegs has irrefutable evidence (aside from all that pesky DNA stuff) that The Hybrid is her own flesh and blood.
Evidence that The Hybrid is indeed Pegs' offspring below:

i wonder if she will be able to swim as well as you, too
Pegs, your feet are awesome. Ergo, so are Sofia's. Having opposable toes can be very handy thing.
Lee, Sofia has your forehead.
