Climb every mountain, cry me a river
Sofia's been going through some big changes recently. For starters, she's developed this irresistible urge to climb everything in sight: chairs, stools, couches.... No piece of furniture is immune from her sloppy grip and mighty quest to ascend. The problem is that, like a cat stuck in a tree, Sofia can't figure out how to get down once she's gotten up. This usually results in a prolonged bout of crying, coupled with a stubborn (or is it terrified?) refusal to budge. I've provided some photographic evidence of her apparent love/fear of heights below.

Another big change is that Pegs has very patiently been teaching Sofia how to put on and take off her shirt, shoes and sleep sack, among other articles of clothing. While this is convenient at bathtime or when we're putting her down to sleep, Sofia has started to employ her new skills at inappropriate times. Case in point: it's not the best idea to try removing your shirt when precariously perched on a chair from which you can't (or won't) get down:
I can only hope that this tendency to climb up on a chair and remove all of her clothes is just a phase; I'd hate for her to end up on the six o'clock news like her uncle Damien.

Just make sure to tell Sofia to NEVER mix Nyquil and Tequila, then you have nothing to worry about.

For some reason, when you mentioned Damien appearing on the six o'clock news, the first image to come to my mind was this:
