Home sweet home

And they said it couldn't (or was that "wouldn't"?) be done.... One week ago today we signed on the dotted line and bought our first house as a family. After a long search, countless open houses and one prolonged misfire, we finally found a place to call our own. It's a bit bigger than we had initially looked for, and it's got a LOT more yard than we had anticipated buying, but it has all the features we wanted: a chef-designed kitchen, a separate home office, a playroom for Sofia and an in-law suite for long-term guests. It's also got a whole bunch of other amenities, but why use words when we could just show you pictures or, better yet, videos? Here are some clips we took before the sellers moved out; you'll have to come visit to see what it looks like once we've moved in! Now we just need to wait until our stuff arrives from France, hopefully sometime next month....

I thought you guys were looking for more space than Paris....how is all your stuff going to fit in that tiny house? Sofia is going to get bigger, you know...

P.S. I'd start putting money aside now for light bulbs and smoke alarm batteries. Probably going to cost you a pretty penny. :)

So let's see... you have a kitchen, a dining room, a "lounge," a "study," a conservatory (?!), a living room that could serve as a small ballroom, and definitely enough space for a library, hall, and billiard room. All you need to do now is buy a pool table and build a basement, and you've got the Clue house.
