Looks like we're definitely coming "home" for Thanksgiving, which will make it our first Thanksgiving in the US since Bush got re-elected and we decided to flee the country. That's not to say that we didn't enjoy Thanksgiving last year here in France (Pegs even went out of her way to make a couple of pounds of stuffing for yours truly), but it wasn't the same as sitting down to a
Vanderpool-prepared feast. We'll be traveling through Atlanta to visit Mike and Jill the weekend before, and then we'll make our way down to New Orleans to join the rest of the 'Pools and grab us some turkey and
Jacques-Imo's. Dad better bring down his recipe for turkey stuffing, cause I'm bringing the
big pants.
