From the mouth of Pegs

Panagiota and I were watching Grey's Anatomy on DVD again tonight, mostly in fascination at how Calista Flockhart-esque Ellen Pompeo is becoming. Somebody had better get that girl a Snickers injection and a vanilla milkshake drip STAT before Sally Struthers starts doing telethons from her house. Anyway, we were talking about how scary Dr. Meredith Grey is looking nowadays when Pegs tried to bust out her trademark "What's up with that, guy?" Only for some reason she emphasized "that" and didn't bother to put a pause before "guy", so instead it came out "What's up with that guy?" Like there's some dude on the screen who's really buggin' her out. Only there wasn't. See, because there was a change in her inflection, which is hard to convey in writing, and....

Whatever. It was funny when she said it.

Ariel would like to inform you that the inflection in Pegs' voice was adequately conveyed, thus inducing great heaps of laughter from said Ms. Davis.

I, however, didn't get it.

This coming from a man who vilianized americans as 2-ton men in shorts smooshing minis on the streets of Paris?

But more importantly -- does Pegs vote for Dr. McDreamy or Chris O'Donnel?

Another aside -- do you two ever sleep? We really should get you some Ambien STAT.

McDreamy. Definitely.

I didn't even know he was up all night. He's still sleeping. So, to answer your question, apparently we sleep all day Saturday.

you guys must have not seen McSteamy............yum!

McDreamy beats McSteamy.

By the way, we are currently working our way through season 2 on DVD, so no spoilers please. Lee didn't know about the Chris O'Donnell character and I had to spend all day yesterday comforting him. Having a 200 lb man on your lap for six hours is not fun and a little painful.
