Portishead is back!

Sweeeeeeeeeeet! Portishead have announced that they will be headlining the All Tomorrow's Parties, Nightmare Before Christmas show at the end of the year, where in addition to songs from their existing repertoire they plan to debut some newly penned material. It's been almost ten years since their last original release, so Portishead fans everywhere may (fingers crossed!) have something to look forward to in the form of a new album.

Dude, Portishead are awesome. This one time, somebody tried to convince me that Portishead weren't any good and stuff, but I was all like, "Yeah-huh, they're good! They're completely awesome!" Then I folded my arms across my chest and nodded twice, because that's what you do when you blow away your debate opponent using the power of logic.
