Happy First Birthday, Sofia!

It's hard to believe that it was just one year ago that our little Hybrid popped her head and massive shoulders out of Pegs' belly. It was a year that started with sleepless nights and mild panic attacks, followed by growing comfort and ability, and lately it's been mostly laughs and hugs and kisses. It's been a challenge in some respects, to be sure, and there are mornings when Pegs and I have to play rock-paper-scissors to figure out who's going to get out of bed to get her breakfast ready and change her diaper, but we can't possibly imagine our lives without her.
