I thought that WAS the prize

I'd be willing to bet good money that none of you have ever wished that you lived in Ulyanovsk, Russia. If you did, though, you'd have had the day off today. You see, today is known as the "Day of Conception" in Lenin's old hometown, and workers are given a half-day off to go home and, well, try to conceive a little comrade. As if having a little Russkie to call your own wouldn't be fun enough, the local government also gives prizes (including a car) to one of the couples whose child is delivered on 12 June (Lenin's birthday). And to think: all this time I've been doing it without any chance of outside remuneration or award. Or thanks, for that matter.
