I just called...to say...I love you

This afternoon I was feeling a little romantic, so I called Pegs on her cell phone; here is the conversation that took place:

Me: Hey.

Pegs: Hey.

Me: How are you doing?

Pegs: OK. You?

Me: OK. I just wanted to tell you that I love you.

Pegs: That's sweet, thanks.

[pause]

Me: OK, well, I guess I'll get back to work.

Pegs: OK. Do you want me to tell Pegs that you called?

Me: .... Hi, Nik.
