Speaking in cheeks

This morning Pegs hopped in the shower while I visited my office; Pegs was still in the shower when I dethroned, and she asked me, "Did you say something?"

"Nope," I said.

"That's weird," she said. "I thought I heard something."

"You might have heard something, but I didn't say anything."

"Oh my God! Do you mean.... So I heard.... It sounded like you said 'hello' with a Greek accent!"

"Well," I said, pausing for effect, "they say that you've truly mastered a foreign language when you start farting in it."
